    Very nice home feeling. My wife and kids are Monroe natives that was transplanted to SW Florida. It's nice to come back and rekindle the Southern Hospitality she grew up with and we all know and love! Katie was very friendly and greeted everyone with a smile. We definitely will be coming back on our future trips to Monroe.

    My wife and I visited Alice Jules for the first time on July 4th. We had an amazing time. The coffee was great, the scones were perfectly made, and the atmosphere was clean, inviting and relaxing. A perfect place to sit in comfy chairs and sip on great coffee (I had a chilly Alice; perfection in a cup), eat a delicious pastry, and recharge. We are looking forward to our next visit.

    The good. Friendly staff. The cafe itself has a nice interior in an old Victorian house. The bad. This was probably my mistake for not ordering an espresso based drink, but I had decided to try their "not-your-mothers" house blend. The name was correct. My mothers house coffee had coffee taste. This was just weak coffee. I doubt I would return.
